A good friend of mine, Sophia Agapedis, has written a racy and wonderful memoir."The Nigel Sessions". Knowing the lady and some of the principles, it makes for some very unusual insight into the hidden parts of lives I thought I knew. Amazing! My partner, Cat Dancing, is reading the book now. As soon as she finishes we'll post a review here!

I also just finished "The Cat Who Saw Red", number four in the "Cat Who" series by the late Lilian Jackson Braun. I've read a good many of the books, and recently came across a stash of them I hadn't read yet. I've usually enjoyed the books. They are a very light read, but sometimes that is what I'm looking for. Over time the books have become, at least for me, more of an exploration of the characters and settings than a true mystery. The escapades of Qwilleran, Koko and YumYum and all the quirky characters around him are always fun and entertaining.
There are lots of books in the popular series. When I've read too many "hard" suspense stories the "Cat Who" books and their like make a welcome break.
The process of moving and working on the office, etc., has short circuited my writing for a bit, but I'm still reading constantly. Nothing gets in the way of that!
