I add things as I progress.

I see why it would be troublesome to have too many people related to each other in a series (can you say interbreeding?).

Your process is extremely interesting, maybe if I were half as organized as you, I would be more productive.

By the way, I would love to post 113 of your words on Pagan Fiction in 133 Words or Less. I hope you submit a thing or two ;-)Magaly Guerrerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18295455026184103230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7557873332474630117.post-66060637749996582752011-01-19T09:17:18.660-08:002011-01-19T09:17:18.660-08:00Intriguing, I'll give it a shot Magaly. As to ...Intriguing, I'll give it a shot Magaly.

As to the series. Since it is so dependent on the town, I wanted to have a rudimentary map at least, as well as a consistent location for businesses, roads I use, etc.

Small towns do sometimes seem, at least to an outsider, to be very inbred. The one I grew up near had a population of around 500 when I was in school there. My family had roots in all directions from there. It seemed like you couldn't throw a stick without hitting at least a distant relative.

It felt important to retain some of that aspect but keep it real, and not a parody. To some it may seem like that anyway.

Thank you for your comments. I enjoy them and your blog very much.William RainCrowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15352300459560808405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7557873332474630117.post-70425518150128518452011-01-21T03:30:07.851-08:002011-01-21T03:30:07.851-08:00Ha! I grew up in a village of less than 10 families; we were all related by marriage, but that was as far as it went. I miss it every day.

By the way, "Beads" was a hit. Everybody loved it, me included. If you haven't, you should stop by Pagan Culture and read the comments of your fans ;-)Magaly Guerrerohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18295455026184103230noreply@blogger.com
